WHAT IS THE CHEK GROUP?
CHEK stands for Christian Home Educators of Kamloops! We are a long standing, Christian homeschool support group that services Kamloops and the surrounding areas. The CHEK group is run by volunteer CHEK members who give of their time to support the community. We are all inclusive and would love to get to know you better!
WHAT WE DO:
What can you expect from a CHEK membership?
We run monthly meetings, with different themes and nights. Some of our meetings have included coffee nights funded by the group at local coffee shops, seminars and lectures from local or qualified guests, and more.
We also hold a yearly "Not-Back-To-School Picnic", a talent show for our amazing children, and an end of the year picnic to finish up.
We book and organize some awesome resources in the local community for our group, some of which have included in the past: TCC gymnastics, TCC swimming lessons, Soccer Quest classes, art classes at 4Cats art studio, and so much more!
